GENERAL DESCRIPTION |
This project entailed the construction of a new Sound Barrier Wall along I-95, from South of Sample Road in Broward County, to South of Glades Road, in Palm Beach County, Florida. The wall is approximately 32,500 feet in length with an average height of 15 feet. The Wall System is composed of Precast Concrete Posts erected on Auger Cast Piling with Frame Precast Concrete Panels connecting the vertical posts. The Precast Panels present an undulating pattern thereby creating a wave effect. Various architectural features are randomly incorporated in the faces of the panels.
