This project consisted of design and construction of a new Noise Abatement Barrier along N.W. 36th Street from N.W. 67th Avenue to N.W. 70th Avenue, in Miami, Florida. The wall is approximately 5,600 feet in length with height ranging from 20 feet to 38 feet. The Barrier System is composed of Precast Concrete Posts erected on Auger Cast Piling with Precast Concrete Panels connecting the vertical posts. The Precast Panels present an undulating pattern thereby creating a wave effect. Round colored glass panels were inserted in a random pattern in both faces of the concrete panels as a unique architectural feature.
