ORIGIN AND OWNERSHIP:
 
In 1987 the stockholders of a 50-year-old Italian Construction Company decided to expand their operations to the United States of America. In order to implement that decision, Recchi S.p.A., founded a new company in America. The new company, based in Miami, Florida was called Recchi America, Inc. The name has since been changed to Condotte America, Inc. to reflect changes in the Italian ownership.

Condotte America, Inc. has done an extensive amount of construction work in the Southeastern portion of the United States of America. In addition to the current work load in Florida, the company resume includes signature bridges in Delaware, Virginia, Georgia, Washington DC and Florida. In recognition of the high quality of its work Condotte America, Inc. and its managers, officers and directors have been the recipient of numerous awards and commendations from several independent national and local organizations.

During the period 1995 to 1997 Ferfina Group who was operating in the construction industry through Ferrocemento S.p.A., acquired various Italian international construction companies including Recchi, Gambogi, Icre and Societa’ Italiana per Condotte d’Acqua S.p.A. In July of 1999 after a process of reorganization and rationalization of the operations, this distinguished group of Italian companies, including Ferrocemento S.p.A. consolidated themselves under the Condotte name.

, which was founded in 1880 in Italy, brought to the group an impressive track record of quality and success in international public and private construction work. In May of 1999, the American subsidiary changed its name to where it stands today; Condotte America Inc.
