The structure is a dual concrete segmental, continuously post-tensioned box girder bridge over the St. John's River.  The method of construction was cast-in-place, balanced-cantilever with a center span of 630 feet in length. The structure has a clear height of 75 feet above the river. Each bridge carries 3 lanes of traffic, together with a lane for a future automated tram or people mover.
